  • Raj Bhattacharyya has spent over 25 years in the capital markets. He is currently the CEO of Robertson Stephens, a national registered investment advisory wealth management firm. He was formerly at Deutsche Bank where he led several fixed income businesses over 17 years that included the Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets business in the U.S. (2015 to 2018), Capital Markets and Treasury Solutions for Western Europe (2010 to 2015) and Debt Capital Markets and Derivative Sales in North America (2001 to 2010).

    Mr. Bhattacharyya also served as the Vice Chairman of the board for the Emerging Markets Trading Association (2015 to 2018) and as a member of Deutsche Bank's Global Investment Banking Executive Committee (2012 to 2015). Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Bhattacharyya worked at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch.

  • Paul Friedman is the former Chief Operating Officer of Guggenheim Securities LLC, where he worked from 2009 to 2015 and was also a member of the management committee. From 2008 to 2009, Mr. Friedman was a Managing Director at Mariner Investment Group.

    From 1981 to 2008, Mr. Friedman was with Bear Stearns & Co, Inc., most recently holding the position of Chief Operating Officer for fixed income. Mr. Friedman is currently a board member of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and Tiptree Financial, Inc. and has over 20 years of experience managing repurchase agreement trading businesses.

  • Sonia Hamstra was the former Global Head of public fixed income at AIG Investments (“AIG”), overseeing AIG’s publicly traded fixed income strategies and has more than 28 years of experience in the fixed income markets. Ms. Hamstra held various senior management roles at AIG from 2001 to 2014.

    Before AIG, Ms. Hamstra was a Vice President at American General Investment Management from 1987 to 2001. Currently, Ms. Hamstra serves on the board of directors of Parent Child Home Program, a national non-profit focused on literacy for low-income families.

  • Craig Overlander served as Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale Americas from 2012 to 2015, after joining the bank in 2010. Prior to Societe Generale, Mr. Overlander was the Global Head of fixed income of Wachovia Securities which merged with Wells Fargo. Prior to Wells/Wachovia, Mr. Overlander was at Bear Stearns & Co, Inc. for 26 years where he held numerous senior positions and was most recently Global Co-Head of fixed income including sales, trading, research and capital markets.

    Mr. Overlander has an extensive background managing fixed income businesses with deep client relationships and industry connectivity. Mr. Overlander is a former Co-Treasurer of the Bond Market Association and SIFMA board member.

  • Kip Testwuide was with BNP Paribas (“BNP”) for 24 years, where he led a variety of fixed income units. Most recently, Mr. Testwuide was Co-Head of fixed income in the Americas and a board member of both of BNP's US broker dealers until 2014. Mr. Testwuide also served on BNP’s Global Fixed Income Executive Committee and chaired the North American new product and capital markets credit committees.

    Mr. Testwuide began his career with Manufacturer's Hanover and also served as Head of debt capital markets and derivative marketing at UBS Investment Bank from 1994 to 1996. Mr. Testwuide currently serves as a senior advisor to Rapid Ratings International and is on the advisory board of several early stage companies. Mr. Testwuide has 35 years of fixed income and risk management experience.

  • Mr. Wolfthal has over 23 years of short duration fixed income trading and financing experience with several leading broker dealers. From 2009 to 2016, Mr. Wolfthal was the Global Head of financing and front end and agency trading at Nomura Securities in New York. At Nomura, Mr. Wolfthal was a member of the fixed income Americas executive committee and the global rates management team and had daily responsibility for the U.S. government agency and short term interest rate trading franchise and global repo financing. Prior to Nomura, Mr. Wolfthal was the Head of global financing and front end trading at Bank of America Securities from 2006 to 2009. At Bank of America Securities, Mr. Wolfthal helped build a regional rates business into a global client-focused franchise.

    Prior to Bank of America Securities, Mr. Wolfthal traded treasuries, repurchase agreements and covered fixed income clients at Lehman Brothers from 1994 to 2006. Mr. Wolfthal has a bachelor of business administration in finance from Baruch College. Mr. Wolfthal works part-time in his capacity as a member of the Investment Committee, is a limited partner of the Investment Manager and serves on the Board of Advisors.
